Meet the Team
Dr. Christopher George
Dr. Chris was introduced to BSI/CPK while running high school cross-country in Holcomb, KS. He then attended Butler Community College in El Dorado, KS on a cross-country and track scholarship, where he earned All-American honors in cross-country and the half-marathon. During this time, he shadowed Dr. Allan Lindsley, igniting a passion for BSI and resulting in Dr. Chris changing his major from Pre-Med/Chemistry to Kinesiology.
After Butler CC he transferred to Adams State University in Alamosa, CO, where he continued to run cross-country and track, and finish his Bachelor’s, Cum Laude, in Exercise Physiology. In his senior year, he was introduced to helping persons with disabilities. After graduation, he moved to Colorado Springs, CO and worked direct care and group home management for individuals with intellection and/or developmental disabilities.
He then took a job which led to him being a field service technician in the oilfields of ND, WY, and CO to support his growing family. It was during this time of troubleshooting equipment, and getting to the root cause of the problem, that the fire for BSI was re-ignited. In 2016 he moved to Overland Park, KS to realize his dream of becoming a Chiropractor and utilizing BSI to help restore the most complex machine in the world, your body!
Dr. Chris is specializing in Bio-Systems Integration, Quantum Neurology, Acupuncture, and Neuro-Emotional Technique.
Dr. Emilea George
Dr. Emilea was born and raised in Colby, KS. Much like Dr. Chris, she was introduced to Bio-Systems Integration (BSI) through cross-country and track & field in high school. BSI was unique, but until she battled her own health issues, the scope of what is possible with this technique wasn't fully understood. Dr. Emilea had a successful high school career in running and had went on to pursue her athletic endeavors at Wichita State. She believed if she trained hard and ate right that anything was possible. While this is true, balance is key. Running and the amount of stress on the body had flared Dr. Emilea’s own genetic predispositions, and she began to experience gut dysfunction and chronic fatigue. At the age of 19, Dr. Emilea was diagnosed with Hashimoto’s Thyroiditis. She knew she could not keep pushing at the rate she was going while her health was failing.
Dr. Emilea refused to give up running and competing at a collegiate level, and so she continued to dig and figure out what was triggering her autoimmune disease. With the help of some of the best acupuncturists and BSI practitioners in the area, Dr. Emilea was introduced to the world of functional medicine and this changed the course of not only her education, but also her passions in life.
Graduating Wichita State with a B.S. in Biochemistry, Dr. Emilea continued her education at Cleveland University to become a Doctor of Chiropractic. There, Dr. Emilea dove into topics such as Clinical Kinesiology, Applied Kinesiology, Acupuncture, Sacral Occipital Technique, Neuro-Emotional Technique, Activator, Quantum Neurology, and BSI. All these techniques address different aspects of the body to help with structural, chemical, emotional, and bio-electrical imbalances. Through her athletic endeavors, she learned how every obstacle brings new challenges and lessons to be learned. Follow Dr. Emilea and join her on the path to a new, stronger you.
